Super 8: 'Is that a full stadium I am seeing?' - David Hundeyin surprised to see packed stadium during Super 8 finals

Popular investigative journalist and political commentator has commended the organisers of the just ended Naija Super 8 football tournament.

This comes after a viral video showed an impressive attendance in the finals between Remo Stars and Sporting Lagos.

"Is that a full stadium I am seeing? In Lagos?" he tweeted.

The organisers of the event has been applauded for the martketing of the tournament.

Sporting Lagos crowned their fairy-tale run in the Naija Super Eight tournament with the ultimate prize after beating Remo Stars 4-2 via a penalty shoot out.

The regular time had ended in a 1-1 draw and the teams went straight to the penalty shoot out, where the Lagos boys, newly promoted to the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL), proved better marksmen from the spot.

Sporting Lagos took the lead in the 54th and looked as if they were heading to their first title in their second year in Nigerian football, but Remo Stars equalised through Adams Olamilekan with less than five minutes to time.
