South African club Kaiser Chiefs have ended their pursuit of Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.

According to reports, Chippa United have placed a hefty fee on the 27-year-old shot-stopper forcing their PSL rivals to end their chase of the Nigerian goalkeeper.

Stanley Nwabali attracted attention following his remarkable campaign at the African Cup of Nations.

The former Enyimba FC star became the first Nigerian goalkeeper to keep four clean sheets in a single AFCON tournament.

BSN Sports reports that the Chiefs who are front-runners to land Nwabali's signature have decided to back off after Chippa United placed an astonishing R30 million as the asking price.

Al-Ettifaq of Saudi Arabia and Queens Park Rangers (QPR) have also reportedly expressed interest in the Nigerian goalkeeper.
