Spalletti to hand Udogie Italy call-up in October

Tottenham Hotspurs defender Destiny Udogie is likely to get his first senior national team call-up in October, according to reports.

Italian publication, La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Luciano Spalletti is considering inviting some young fresh legs to the Azzurris including the Udogie and Fiorentina right back Kayode.

Udogie, who turns 21 in October was born to Nigerian parents and has featured for Italy at the U-16 and U-21 levels.

Kayode, 19 was also born in Italy to Nigerian parents and has featured for Italy at the U-19.

Among the fresh young legs Spalletti is considering are Nicolò Fagioli (Juventus), Destiny Udogie (Tottenham), Samuele Ricci (Torino), Cesare Casadei (Leicester City, on loan from Chelsea), Fabio Miretti (Juventus), Michael Kayode (Fiorentina), Moise Kean (Juventus) and Gianluca Scamacca (Atalanta).
