Super Eagles 2018 World Cup striker Simy Nwankwo is delighted to reach 150 appearances for Italian Serie A side FC Crotone.

The lanky goal poacher reached the milestone against Napoli last weekend and he marked the feat with a brace, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to earn them a point.

The striker also took his tally for the season to 15 in the Italian top flight for the season in the process.

Speaking to the club’s website, Nwankwo who teamed up with the club from Portuguese side Gil Vicente in 2016 said, he would have loved to mark the occasion with a point for his team.

“Scoring three goals at Napoli is a lot of stuff but in the end, it didn’t help because it was important to get points. We have to raise our heads and keep pushing,”

“I don’t like to talk on a personal level as you know. 150 games wearing this shirt are a source of pride for me and I am very proud of what I have done in these five years, since the first day I arrived I felt the affection and love of everyone “. The 28-year-old told the club’s website.
