Serie A: Lookman scores in 2 consecutive games as Atalanta beat Cagliari

Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman was on target as his side beat Cagliari 2-0 at the Gewiss Stadium on Sunday, September 24.


The Super Eagles star opened the scoring for La Dea in the 33rd minute before Mario Pasalic added the second in the 76th minute.

It was the 25-year-old third consecutive league goal for Gian Piero Gasperini's side having scored against Fiorentina in their 3-2 defeat last week.

The ex-RB Liepzig man has now managed 2 goals in 5 Serie A appearances this season.

Lookman was Atalanta's top scorer in Serie A last season after netting 13 goals and 8 assists in 31 league appearances for the club.

Atalanta now sit in 6th position in Serie A after managing 3 wins and 2 defeats in the opening five games.
