Serie A: Lookman named Atalanta's Player of the Season

Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman has been named Atalanta's Best Player of the 2022/2023 Season.

The 25-year-old had a remarkable first season with La Dea after joining the club from RB Leipzig last summer.

The ex-Leicester City man scored 15 goals and provided 8 assists across all competitions for Gian Piero Gasperini's side.

His impressive form helped the club to secure qualification for the Europa League next season.

The Nigerian international beat the likes of Teun Koopmeiners and Marten de Roon to the award as the duo came second and third respectively.
