Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze starred for AC Milan in their opening fixture of the 2026/27 Serie A campaign against Torino.
The 27-year-old, who has been handed a new role as wing-back by new manager Ruben Amorim, was instrumental to the Rossoneri's crucial 2-1 victory at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on Sunday, August 23.
Chukwueze provided the assist for AC Milan's second goal from Adrien Rabiot, after Alphadjo Cisse had given Milan the lead in the 64th minute.
Che Adams reduced the deficit for Torino in stoppage time, but it wasn't enough for the home side.
Apart from the assist, Chukwueze created the most chances in the game (4), and had the most touches in the opposition box (9).
Chukwueze's impressive display earned him the Man of the Match award after the game.
The Nigerian international has been instrumental to Ruben Amorim's side since returning from his loan spell at Fulham.
