Jose Mourinho has reportedly been offered a mouthwatering contract in Saudi Arabia that could see him become the world's best-paid manager.

The Saudi Pro League has courted massive interest from high-profile football personalities in recent months following Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer to the division back in January.

Several football stars have since linked up with the forward in Saudi Arabia, including Real Madrid legend Karim Benzema and Neymar Jr.

However, despite top players sealing multimillion moves in droves, this has not been witnessed among managers.

Steven Gerrard is arguably the only highest-ranking manager who has joined the league recently, with the Englishman joining Al Ettifaq, per Sky Sports.

Reports now claim the league is keen to lure Mourinho from Roma and make him the highest-paid manager in the world.

According to Sportbible citing Goal, a yet-to-be-identified Saudi club have offered the former Premier League manager a two-year contract worth an eyewatering £104 million to join them.

The development comes at a time when Mourinho has been linked with a possible Roma exit, with reports in Italy claiming he is yet to be offered a new contract.

The 60-year-old joined the Italian club in 2021 after his departure from Tottenham Hotspur.
