Saka beats Kane, Bellingham to England Player of the Year

Arsenal's Bukayo Saka has emerged as England Player of the Year.

The Arsenal forward of Nigerian descent beat Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham and Bayern Munich's Harry Kane to the prestigious prize.

Saka has won the award for a second year running after receiving the most votes from fans.

The 22-year-old managed 7 goals in 10 caps for the Three Lions over the past year, including three goals at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Saka scored his first career hattrick in England's 6-2 drubbing of North Macedonia in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
