Al-Nassr manager, Luis Castro has unsurprisingly asserted that Cristiano Ronaldo holds the title of the greatest, following his impressive goal against Al-Khaleej over the past weekend.

The veteran extended his goal-scoring streak with a thunderous shot from beyond the box in the 26th minute, leaving goalkeeper, Marwan Al-Haidari with no opportunity to intervene.

This goal paved the way for another triumph for the Knights of Najd, with Aymeric Laporte helping secure all three points for Al-Nassr with his goal only 13 minutes into the second half.

Having assumed the managerial role at Al-Nassr in July after the dismissal of Rudi Garcia, Castro has now showered praise on Ronaldo for his outstanding performance.

According to Sportskeeda, Castro commented on the Portuguese superstar being able to make everything look simple and also commented on his goal as 'fantastic'.

"Cristiano is number one in the world. He's a fantastic person and a professional. It's incredible. For me, he's an example for all the world and deserves the best always. It's fantastic."

Following a prolific performance last season, where he netted 14 goals in 19 games across all competitions for Al-Nassr, Ronaldo has raised the stakes this season with 15 goals in 16 appearances, per Transfermarkt.

In the Saudi Pro League specifically, the Portuguese icon has found the back of the net 12 times in just 11 matches.
