Ronaldo quashes claims he was uncomfortable sitting beside Conor Mcgregor with cheeky IG post

Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has appeared to pour cold water on claims he was uncomfortable sitting with Conor McGregor.

The two sporting stars were among the top personalities who graced the Day of Reckoning Fight that had Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, and Dmitry Bivol all in action.

According to The Telegraph, Ronaldo did not seem to enjoy the company of McGregor and looked like he would rather be anywhere else apart from being seated with the MMA fighter's ringside jabbering.

At one point, the legendary forward seemingly ignored McGregor and refused a handshake.

Marca reports that Ronaldo's body language through his interaction with the Irishman made clear his feelings towards his 'seatmate.'

So awkward the duo's interaction was that fans were quick to take note of it.

However, CR7 has appeared to quash claims that he did not enjoy sitting beside McGregor with a cheeky Instagram post.

The former Man United attacker took to the platform to share a photo of him with the fighter from the Saturday event.

The photo has the duo having a hearty conversation, with Ronaldo challenging his millions of followers to suggest a caption for the photo.
