Ronaldo Delima opens up on comparison with Cristiano Ronaldo

Brazilian football legend, Ronaldo Delima has reacted to the comparison between him and Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo who also played for Real Madrid.

Speaking in an Instagram live chat with World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro of Italy, he stated that the Portuguese must find it boring to be told that he's the real Ronaldo.

"For Cristiano, it must be boring to hear that I am the real Ronaldo.

"People cannot be compared. Cristiano will remain in football history for the goals and for the continuity he has achieved.

"He will remain one of the best, like Messi."

In a separate Instagram live chat with David Beckham, Ronaldo suggested that they should host friendly games to raise funds against COVID-19.

“We can do a friendly match after all this, and raise money for the people that need it.”

Beckham responded: “I think it is important to raise as much money for the people that have been working every single day trying to save lives, trying to do everything possible and are away from their children and their families.

“It’s such an important part of what we can achieve with the club we have been a part of and the players that we have been talking about, to do something special is very important.”
