Eden Hazard says he will not leave Real Madrid before the expiration of his contract in 2024.

The 32-year-old who joined the Santiago Bernabeu outfit from Chelsea for a £130 million deal in 2019 has not lived up to his price tag.

He has struggled with his form as injuries plagued his stay in the Spanish capital.

Per Talk Sports, the ex-Belgium playmaker has made just one league start this season and was an unused substitute in Real Madrid’s 2-1 over Osasuna in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday night.

Hazard accepts that his season hasn’t gone to plan but confirmed he plans to see out his with the La Liga giants.

“It’s been a difficult year, but with a very big team,” the 32-year-old told Cadena SER, per the Daily Mail.

“Honestly, I’m planning to stay at Real Madrid next season. I expect to stay as I want to celebrate the last year of the contract I have left.

“I have a good relationship with the club and with the players too. I want to play, but I know it’s very difficult. I have to work and hope I can play more.”
