Yekini, Okocha and Oliseh played together for the Super Eagles in various tournament

Reactions have trailed a rare throwback photo of Super Eagles greats, Rashidi Yekini, Jay-Jay Okocha and Sunday Oliseh.

The trio who has etched their names in the history books as some of the greatest talents Nigerian football has ever produced were adored by football-loving fans of Nigeria.

Yekini, Okocha, and Oliseh played together for the Super Eagles in various tournaments, including the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and FIFA World Cup.

The trio notably played together in the 1994 FIFA World Cup held in the United States, where Nigeria reached the Round of 16.

They also participated together in the Africa Cup of Nations tournaments during the 1990s.

Yekini, who is regarded as the greatest player in Nigeria's history scored 37 goals in 62 appearances for the Super Eagles and is the country's all-time leading scorer.

Okocha, one of the most skillful players Africa has ever seen also managed 14 goals in 73 caps for Nigeria whereas Oliseh managed 3 goals in 63 caps.
