Manchester United's attempt to wade off Inter Milan's approach for Ashley young failed as the player has other intentions in mind which are clearly away from what United is offering.

The 34-year-old reportedly to down the chance to stay at Old Trafford for another year because he has had limited playing time, as Young views the full back-areas at United as well-stocked.

According to Sky, the prospect of Inter Milan is said to excite him, having spent his entire club career in England and he believes he should be playing regularly at this stage of his career.

Young is into the final six months of his United contract and already has the option of signing a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club.
