Qatar 2022: Stalemate as Tunisia holds Denmark to a goalless draw in Group D

One of Africa's representatives at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Tunisia has played a goalless draw with Denmark in their opening Group D game at the Education City Stadium.

The North African side did enough to earn a positive result as they shared the spoils with the Danes.

It was the first time in the tournament a game has ended barren.

Australia will take on World champions France in the other Group D encounter in a few hours' time.

Unlike African champions, Senegal, Tunisia avoided a defeat in their group opener to boost their chances of qualifying from the group.

Morocco, Cameroon and Ghana are yet to begin their campaigns.
