Qatar 2022: Neymar set to return for South Korea clash

Neymar da Silver Jr is set to return for Brazil's round of 16 clash against South Korea on Monday, December 5.

The 30-year-old PSG star missed Brazil's clash against Switzerland and Cameroon in the group stage after sustaining an ankle injury.

There were concerns if the ex-Barcelona star could feature again for the five-time world champions for the remainder of the tournament, but news coming from the Brazilian camp suggests that Neymar could be available for Tite against Paulo Bento's side.

Neymar shared two pictures of himself training on Sunday, December 4 with the caption: “I feel good, I knew that I would now,” he said via Twitter.

Brazil head coach Tite also revealed at a post-match presser that Neymar will feature against Son Heung-min's side.

Neymar is likely to start the game from the bench when Brazil lock horns against South Korea at Stadium 974 for a place in the quarterfinals.
