Pre-season: Mauricio Pochettino travels with 29 Chelsea players for US tour

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino will travel to the United States with 29 players for the club's pre-season tour.

It will be the first pre-season trip under the new Argentine boss who took over from Frank Lampard after the end of last season.

Mail Sports reports that the club wants to delay the return of players who want to engineer a move away from the club this summer.

The likes of Romelu Lukaku, Hakim Ziyech and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who were scheduled to report to Cobham last week have had their holidays extended.

The former Tottenham Hotspurs and Paris Saint-Germain boss is only ready to work with players who are willing to stay at the club.

Chelsea will be involved in five friendlies on their two weeks stay in the US.

Pochettino's side will take on Wrexham, Brighton, Newcastle United, Fulham and Borussia Dortmund.
