Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has revealed his game plan ahead of Nigeria's friendly against former European champions Portugal.

The three-time African champions will take on the World Cup-bound Portuguese team led by want-away Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo at the Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon.

The Super Eagle will hope to end their 11-game run without a win in international friendlies on Thursday, November 17.

Speaking ahead of the game, the 62-year-old Portuguese tactician disclosed that his side will try to avoid a defeat or better still lose by a decent score line by not conceding too many.

“If we can’t win, let’s draw. If we can’t draw, let’s not lose by too many. That’s the goal,” the former Sporting Lisbon manager said as per tsf.

He added that his Super Eagles side will keep possession and also play across the field.

“I don’t know if Portugal will allow us and if we are going to be able to do what we want, but we want to play the game across the field and also have the ball because we have players with the quality and capacity for that.”
