Peseiro hails Golden Eaglets, Flamingos

Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has hailed Nigeria's U 17 men and women team, Golden Eaglets, and Flamingos for their recent feat.

Nigeria's Golden Eaglets secured qualification to the CAF U17 AFCON, after recovering from a goal down to defeat Ivory Coast 3-1 at the ongoing WAFU Zone B tournament in Cape Coast, Ghana.

The Flamingos on the other side of the coin secured qualification to the FIFA Women’s U17 World Cup last week.

Impressed by their recent display, the 62-year-old Portuguese took to his Twitter to shower some praises on both teams.

“Congratulations to both the Nigerian U17 women’s and men’s teams for qualifying to World Cup and AFCON, respectively.”

“They are the future of Nigerian football and deserve our full support!” He tweeted.

The Golden Eaglets will take on Burkina Faso in the final of the WAFU 17 Zone B Championship.
