Paul Onuachu wastefulness cost KRC Genk vs Kortrijk

Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu was far from his best against KV Kortrijk in the Belgian Jupiler league at the Golden Spurs Stadium on Monday.

The Nigerian international came into the game with a record of 13 goals from last 14 league games, but fired blank when it mattered most last night.

Onuachu missed glorious chances in the first half and second half, before being substituted by coach Wouter Vrancken.Kortrijk with former Genk manager Bernd Storck on the bench, however, won the game 1-0 against the leaders, ending their 15-game winning streak in the process.

Felipe Avenatti scored the winner in the 83rd minute, with goalkeeper Tom Vandenberghe making interesting saves to preserve the win.
