Chief Executive Officer of the League Management Company Davidson Owumi is yet to receive his letter of appointment from the Nigeria Football Federation, three months after assuming office, The PUNCH reports.

The NFF on December 30, 2020, announced the appointment of Owumi as the new CEO of the organising body of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

A board member of MFM FC, Godwin Enakhena, said Owumi was yet to be given an appointment letter during an interview session on Kick and Follow, a Punch Online TV programme on Friday.

“Davidson Owumi is the CEO of the LMC,” Enakhena said.

“He has been appointed but has not been given a letter. In Nigeria, you can only have control of what belongs to you but sadly he doesn’t in this regard.

“That’s why Owumi has not resumed.”

When our correspondent contacted Owumi on the issue he said, “I have nothing to say about that. I will wait for the appropriate time before making extensive comments on it.”
