Owen Hargreaves tips Osimhen's Napoli to win UCL

Following their impressive campaign this season, Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has tipped Victor Osimhen's Napoli as potential UEFA Champions League title contenders.

The Luciano Spalletti-tutored side has been phenomenal all season both domestically and in Europe.

The Naples-based club are on course to win its first Scudetto title since the days of Diego Maradona in over three decades ago.

The runaway Scudetto leaders are 18 points clear at the top of Serie A with 68 points after 26 games ahead of Inter in second place with 50 points.

The Parthenopeas have also booked their place in the last 8 of the UEFA Champions League after edging Eintracht Frankfurt 5-0 in the last 16.

Former England international Hargreaves believes the Serie A leaders are the most underrated team in the UCL this season.

He added that Luciano Spalletti's side can win the UEFA Champions League and are a threat to clubs like Manchester City who have been tipped as firm favourites to win this season's title.

“The most underrated side I would say is Napoli. When they get it right, they’re a threat. They’d give City a game.

“They’re one of the best teams in Europe this season, one of the top scorers, they play beautiful football. If you’re not putting any respect on the name then you need to go and watch them because they’re the real deal. Seriously, they could win the Champions League,” Hargreaves told BT Sport.
