Osimhen wants personal trainer at Napoli

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has shown great desire to improve certain aspects of his game ahead of the resumption of the major football leagues after the FIFA World Cup.

The 23-year-old as per the latest reports from Italy has requested for additional technical and tactical support as Luciano Spalletti and his charges pitch camp in Turkey ahead of their friendly with Crystal Palace and Antalyaspor.

"In the resort of Belek, near Antalya, Spalletti is aiming to give depth and strength to his own. And for Victor there is always an extra technical and tactical work that the player asks for out of generosity. Because he wants to improve, to win something important." Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sports reports

Osimhen has had a remarkable season with Napoli thus far. The ex-Lille forward has scored 10 goals in 14 appearances for the Naples-based team this season.

The Lagos-born striker is also the leading top scorer in Serie A with 9 goals in 11 outings this season.

The Super Eagle has inspired his Napoli side to open an impressive 8 points gap at the top of Serie A ahead of champions Milan, Lazio and Juventus.

Luciano Spalletti's side is on course to win their first Scudetto title in over 20 years.
