Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is set to make his first start for Napoli on his return from injury when the Serie A leaders take on Jose Mourinho's AS Roma on Sunday, October 23.

The 23-year-old who missed the Super Eagles international friendly against Algeria last month will lead the I Partenopei attack when they travel to the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Matchday 11.

The Super Eagles striker has scored in his last two outings for the Spalletti-led side when he came off the bench against Ajax and Bologna in the UEFA Champions League and Serie A respectively.

Italian publication Il Mattino reports that Napoli boss, Luciano Spalletti has decided to start Osimhen in what will be a keenly contested battle on Sunday night.

Both sides shared the spoils in the two fixtures last season.
