Manchester United manager, Eric ten Hag has finally reacted to the rumors linking Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen to the English club.

While Manchester United are, yet to conclude a deal for a recognized center forward like neighbors Manchester City who can rely on Erling Haaland.

Reacting to the reports linking United to Osimhen, Ten Hag stated "We never talk about other players in contract with other clubs."

He said targets have been identified and work is currently ongoing to bring them to Old Trafford.

"We never talk about players in contracts with other clubs. We have our targets and we are working in the background to get them to sign contracts with us," he said.

Meanwhile, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has turned down a lucrative €130m bid from Al-Hilal for Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

The Saudi side, backed by the sovereign wealth fund PIF, approached Napoli with a substantial offer in an attempt to secure the services of the Nigerian forward.

This move comes after their initial interest in Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe was met with a cold response, leading them to explore other options.

Osimhen, who played a crucial role in Napoli’s triumphant Scudetto-winning campaign last season, has garnered significant interest from various quarters. The Italian club clinched the Serie A title for the first time in over three decades, with Osimhen’s stellar performances in the forefront.
