Osimhen's agent opens up on Premier League links

Victor Osimhen's agent Andrea D’Amico believes it is important for the in-form striker to remain focused at Napoli amid reports linking the Nigerian striker with a move away from the Naples-based team.

The 24-year-old Super Eagle has been in a rich vein of form for the Serie A leaders having netted 19 goals in 20 league appearances to help Luciano Spalletti's side open an 18-point gap in the league.

The ex-Lille striker has also recorded two goals in the UEFA Champions League with his last goal coming against Frankfurt in the round of 16 first-leg tie.

His explosive form has drawn interest from several clubs in the Premier League with Manchester United reportedly leading the race for the signature of the Nigerian international.

Osimhen has also been linked with a move to Newcastle United, Arsenal and Chelsea but his agent believes it is important for the Napoli talisman to concentrate at his current club as the end of the season beckons.

“For now, his (Osimhen) characteristics go well with Napoli’s game. Premier (League)? It is right that Osi remains focused on Napoli’s season finale,” D’Amico told TuttoNapoli.net

The Italian football agent also hailed the Prince of Naples for his professionalism and remarkable form this season.

“Osimhen is illegal, he is experiencing success with such humility,” he told TuttoNapoli.net.

“When Napoli decide selling him will mean that they will already have the substitute in hand,” he added.
