'Osimhen is not for sale' — Napoli president tells suitors

Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has poured cold water on transfer speculations surrounding Nigerian sensation Victor Osimhen.

The 24-year-old has been at the centre of transfer rumours following his explosive form for the Naples-based club this season.

Many have linked the Serie A top scorer with a move to some top European giants in the summer with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain lurking around as potential destinations.

Italian news hub, La Gazzetta dello Sport, reports that Manchester United are preparing a £107m bid for Napoli's Starman.

Meanwhile, transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the in-form Super Eagle is not for sale according to the club president, Aurelio de Laurentiis.

“I can tell you that Osimhen is not for sale”, he told SportBild as quoted by Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.

“Our players are in demand, but I don't have to sell anyone. We don't have any debts”, de Laurentiis added.

Osimhen has scored 16 Serie A goals in 17 appearances this season. He is currently the top scorer in the Italian topflight.
