Osimhen is better than Lukaku — Esposito

Former Fiorentina and Sampdoria star Carmine Esposito has waded into the debate among Italian Serie A fans over Victor Osimhen and Romelu Lukaku, on who is better.

Osimhen and Lukaku are two of the biggest stars in the Italian Calcio, but they have been class apart this season.

While Osimhen is banging goals for table topping Napoli, Lukaku is struggling for fitness, spending the first part of the season on the treatment table.

Asked who he would rather have on his team, Esposito opted for the Nigerian forward.“I have no doubts: always Osimhen, Lukaku has been squeezed a lot by now and is in a tired phase, but Osimhen is currently the top in Italy and in Europe.“
