Osimhen included in Napoli's squad to face Udinese - Fabrizio Romano reveals

Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen has been included in the team that will face Udinese despite the controversy that has rocked the Italian champions.

This was revealed by popular transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano in a post on his Facebook page.

"Victor Osimhen has regularly been called up by Napoli manager Rudi Garcia for the game vs Udinese," the post reads.

The call-up comes hours after Osimhen expressed anger after being trolled by the official Tiktok account of Napoli following his penalty miss.

The viral video generated anger amongst Nigerians and Napoli fans.

Osimhen has been arguably the best player at Napoli in the last two years. He helped the club to their first Serie A title in 33 years, registering 26 goals and five assists. In the Champions League, he also performed well, scoring five goals to help Napoli to their first-ever quarterfinal finish.

This season, he started with the same form, scoring three times in his first two games of the campaign. However, he has fired blanks for the last four games. His profligacy has inadvertently affected his team, as they have only won one of their previous four fixtures.
