Osimhen hails Spalletti for Napoli's victory over Bologna

Napoli talisman Victor Osimhen has attributed his side's victory against Bologna to Luciano Spalletti's half-time team talk.

The Naples-based club recorded a 3-2 win against a resilient Bologna side at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Sunday, October 16 to remain at the summit of the Serie A league table.

Osimhen, who came on in the second half to grab the winner in the 69th minute credited the manager for the victory.

“This is what we call team spirit. We started well, Bologna is a good team, but we needed these points,” the 23-year-old told DAZN in a post-match interview.

“Big kudos to the coach for the second-half talk, he gave us the zeal to go out for this game. I am happy for this victory.”

The former Lille attacker scored for a second consecutive game on his return from injury.
