Osimhen fully fit again - Napoli doctor

Napoli doctor, Raffaele Canonico, has stated that Victor Osimhen has fully recovered from the back injury that slowed him down last month.

The 23-year-old forward missed Nigeria’s friendly against Portugal last month, after suffering an injury during Napoli’s 3-2 victory against Udinese just before the international break.

Speaking on the squad fitness Canonico said, Osimhen and other injured players have recovered and are ready for the restart of the season.

“Kvaratskhelia has already returned to the group, the back pain has passed,” Canonico told FantaCalcio.

Napoli resumed training after a two-week break on Thursday and Osimhen was among the players who took part in the session.

“Kvaratskhelia has already returned to the group, the back pain has passed,” Canonico told FantaCalcio.

“Osimhen has also recovered from a trauma to the lumbar region. Rrahmani’s recovery is proceeding quickly. We aim to get him back on January 4 with Inter,” he said.

Napoli on Thursday travelled to Turkey to continue preparations for the League season’s restart.

The Serie A leaders will play a couple of friendlies before returning to Naples.
