Osimhen fires Napoli to third position in Serie A

Rejuvenated striker Victor Osimhen continued his incredible run of form for Napoli as he netted a goal on their 2-0 win over Torino.

The Napoli’s record signing who was on target in the 5-2 demolition of Lazio last week has now scored in two Serie A games for the first time since moving to Italy.

The 21-year-old year doubled Napoli’s lead in the 13th minute, he collected a pass from the midfield and ran at Torino’s defence, before slotting the ball past the goalkeeper.

Osimhen has now scored four goals in his last six matches for the club and he took his tally to seven in the league.

French midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko scored the opening goal for the Gennaro Gattuso’s led team in 11 minutes.

The win catapulted Napoli into the third position on the log ahead of Juventus and AC Milan, although the three teams are on 66 points.
