Turkish champions Galatasaray have provided a positive update on Victor Osimhen's recovery.

The 27-year-old is currently recuperating from an arm injury he suffered against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League at Anfield last month.

The Nigerian international underwent surgery, which has sidelined him for a couple of weeks.

According to reports, Victor Osimhen trained in the gym last week following his successful surgery.

The club reported that Victor Osimhen has started running drills on the pitch with the team’s physiotherapist.

The former African Footballer of the Year is expected to return in time for the Intercontinental Derby on Sunday, April 26, at Rams Park.
