Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala starred as Barcelona Femeni thrashed Las Planas in the Spanish women's league to set a historic football milestone.

The 28-year-old grabbed a hat-trick as the Blaugranas thrashed Levante women's team 7-0 at the Estadio Johan Cruyff to become the first football team to win 50 consecutive league matches - the longest winning streak ever achieved by a football team.

The reigning African women's footballer of the year scored in minutes 25, 56, and 63 as the La Liga title holders thrashed Las Planas who sit 11th on the league log.

The ex-Super Falcons skipper has so far managed 10 league goals in 14 appearances for the Catalan giants.

Barcelona Femeni last failed to win a league game back in June 2021 when they were beaten 4-3 by Athletico Madrid.
