Enyimba International of Aba gaffer Fatai Osho is disappointed with his side’s draw against Rivers United last Sunday.

Sadiq Abubakar’s first goal for Enyimba was not enough to complete a comeback as the Nigerian champions settled for a draw against Rivers United at the Enyimba Stadium on Sunday.

Making a return from a lengthy layoff, Abubakar scored equalized for the People’s Elephants after Malachi Ohawume put the visitors ahead in the 31st minute.

Shadrach Oghali and Victor Mbaoma missed glorious opportunities to win the game late on.

Reacting to the result, Osho criticized the players for not showing enough belief after going a goal down.

The former Remo Stars insists that the only improvement after the break, is that but the time was no longer on their side.

“It was a poor first half from my players, after what I called an own goal. Nothing should have come out of a move like that and it has been like that for some time now. ”

“The response after the goal was poor, at this level of football, they shouldn’t have dropped their head after one goal, but after I talked at the break, they believed in themselves again. They scored a goal a few minutes into the second half and then we tried to win it.”

“At the end, we have dropped another two points, which is sad,” he said.
