Oliseh relishes role at FIFA World Cup

Former Super Eagles midfielder and manager Sunday Oliseh is enjoying his new role with FIFA at the ongoing World Cup in Qatar.

The former Juventus star worked as an expert for FIFA for the opening match of the tournament between hosts Qatar and Ecuador.

Oliseh who appeared in two FIFA World Cups with Nigeria was joined by Italian legend Alberto Zaccheroni as they provided expert analysis for the fans.

Ecuador emerged as 2-0 victors against the host Qatar in the opening game courtesy of a brace from Enner Valencia.

“Feeling extremely honoured to have been bestowed the privilege in the company of legendary Italian maestro, Alberto Zaccheroni as FIFA Experts for today’s opening FIFA World Cup match; Qatar vs Ecuador,” Oliseh posted on Twitter.
