Former Nigeria head coach Sunday Oliseh has hinted at a possible return as coach of the national team, Super Eagles.

The ex-international was appointed as coach of the Super Eagles by former NFF chief, Amaju Pinnick in 2015 but resigned after barely 8 months in charge.

In a recent interview during the review of his book, 'Audacity to Refuse' the former Borussia Dortmund defender stated that he felt the need to stay away from football and spend quality time with his family after the 2015 AFCON.

Other reports claim that he resigned because of his strained relationship with former Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama.

In a recent interview, the ex-Super Eagles captain disclosed that he is ready to return as Gaffer for the three-time African Champions if the NFF hierarchy is willing to recall him to take over the role as Coach.

“My priority is to get Nigeria back to the top, Oliseh said as per Complete Sports.

“I will handle the Super Eagles if the person employing has the interest of Nigeria at heart," he added.

The 48-year-old lost only two out of 14 games for the Super Eagles as head coach. He scored 19 goals and conceded 6.
