Super Eagles Watford’s goalkeeper Maduka Okoye says he’s considering moving to another club in order to get more playing time.

Okoye is yet to make a single league appearance since joining Watford from Sparta Rotherham last year.

He’s currently the second choice behind Austrian shot-stopper Daniel Bachmann.

Okoye who played two great seasons in the Netherlands with Sparta Rotterdam believes he’s not happy with his situation and already thinking of the next line of action.

“We’ll see what happens. My contract runs until 2027, so anything is possible. Maybe I will be rented out, or not, I don’t know yet,” Okoye said to Voetbal Primeur.

“The Eredivisie? Yes, that sounds like something to me. The clubs in the Netherlands know me well from Sparta and know what they can do with me. We’ll see.

“For now, I’m just focusing completely on Watford and the games we’re going to play.” He concluded.

Okoye began his education with Mainz 05 before joining Fortuna Dusseldorf, from where he moved to Sparta Rotherham and developed into one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe.
