Forward David Okereke scored his third goal of the season for Cremonese on Thursday, October 20.

The striker scored one of the goals as Cremonese advanced to the next round of Coppa Italia, following a 4-2 win over Modena.

Okereke started from the bench but came on after hour mark and his introduction sparked the game to life.

Okereke scored the opening goal of the game for the Serie A club a few minutes after coming on and it was his first goal in seven matches.

The former Club Brugge forward headed in a superb cross for his third strike of the season for Cremonese in all competitions.

Ghanaian forward Felix Afena-Gyan doubled the advantage before Modena’s star David Diaw equalised with a brace to force the game into extra time.

Leonardo Sernicola, however, netted a brace in extra time to give Cremonese a comfortable result in the end.
