Obioma recounts remarkable title winning campaign with Enyimba

Chukwuemeka Obioma has revealed that lots of memories are attached to his outstanding performances in the Nigeria Professional Football League last season.

Obioma said the 2022-23 NPFL season was an unforgettable one for him.

The former Heartland forward’s impressive performance was key to Enyimba winning their ninth NPFL title.

Obioma won the top scorer award with 16 goals.

He was also named player of the season at the League Bloggers Award ceremony in Lagos on Tuesday.

“A lot of happy memories are attached to it. It was a great season in the NPFL.

“We became the champions and I was named the goal king.

“Now, emerging player of the season, the memories will stay with me for life,” he told DAILY POST.
