Nzube Anaezemba is excited about his transfer to Abia Warriors and he’s committed to helping the club win their first league title and picks tickets to compete on the continent.

Nzube Anaezemba joined Abia Warriors on a two years contract from Lobi Stars of Makurdi on Wednesday and he’s one of the four new faces that joined the club in the current transfer window.

While speaking on his decision to sign for the club, the 27-year-old experienced midfielder said, he’s aware of Abia Warriors’ failure to win major titles in the past season, but he’s optimistic about the chances of the team to change their history in the coming season.

“The major reason why I signed for Abia Warriors is that for some years now, Abia Warriors have not been in the continent, they’ve not won the league, they’ve not won the FA Cup (AITEO Cup), so, all I thought is that coming here, we should get something as good as winning the league and maybe putting them in the continent.” He told busybuddiesng.

Anaezemba also added that he’s delighted to link up with Imama Amapakabo again after working with the former Super Eagles coach at Enyimba.

Nzube Anaezemba has previously played for River United, Enyimba of Aba, Kano Pillars and Lobi stars of Makurdi in the Nigeria professional football league.
