Nwabali gets green light for exciting friendlies against Ghana, Mali

Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has been given medical clearance to feature in the upcoming friendlies against Ghana and Mali later this month.

The 27-year-old sustained an injury during Chippa United's clash against Mamelodi Sundown in the DStv Premiership last weekend.

The former Enyimba goalkeeper was forced to leave the pitch, raising concerns about his availability for the mouthwatering games against Ghana and Mali.

However, recent reports indicate that the Super Eagles shot stopper sustained a minor injury which means he will be available for both matches.

Nwabali produced a remarkable performance at the 2023 African Cup Nations in Cote d'Ivoire to cement the number one spot.

He became the first Nigerian goalkeeper to keep four clean sheets in a single Nations Cup tournament.
