The Super Eagles camp will be opened on Wednesday, September 6 as they take on São Tomé and Principe this weekend in their final 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying fixture.
This was disclosed on the Super Eagles’ X handle on Monday, September 4.
The Super Eagles will host their opponent inside the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom on Sunday, September 10.
In-form striker, Victor Boniface is in the squad including first-timers Gift Orban and Jordan Torunarigha while Tyronne Ebuehi and Jamilu Collins returned to the team.
Also, the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho, Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon, Wilfred Ndidi, William Troost-Ekong and Samuel Chukwueze are among the players invited.
The Eagles, alongside Guinea-Bissau, have already secured qualification to next year’s AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire from Group A.
