Nigeria to play Saudi Arabia in international friendly - Popular journalist reveals venue

The Super Eagles of Nigeria is scheduled to take on the national team of Saudi Arabia in an international friendly according to popular sports journalist, Oma Akatugba.

In a tweet, Oma, a Nigerian-based journalist in Europe said the game is scheduled for Friday, October 13.

"I have been reliably informed by my Saudi Arabian contacts that the
@NGSuperEagles of Nigeria will take on Saudi Arabia in an international friendly on the 13th of October 2023. This would be interesting," he said in a tweet.

Sharing more information, he quoted the same tweet saying "I can also confirm that the match will be played In Portugal."

This comes after the Super Eagles defeated Sao Tome and Principe in their last Africa Cup of Nations 2023 qualifiers.

Nigeria topped the group and will hope to continue with its fine form in the tournament scheduled for early next year.
