Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been ruled out for yet another injury.

The Super Eagles star was left out of the Foxes' matchday squad for their Premier League clash against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday, January 21.

As per reports, the 26-year-old suffered a muscle strain at training and will be out of action for weeks.

This was disclosed by Leicester City reporter, Owynn Palmer- Atkins via his Twitter handle.

“Brendan Rodgers tells me that Wilfred Ndidi has suffered a muscle strain in training and will be out for a couple of weeks,” he wrote.

The former Genk man's season has been marred by consistent injuries since the second half of last season.

Ndidi has only featured 16 times for Brendan Rodgers across all competitions this season.
