Super Eagles player, Wilfred Ndidi has been allocated a new jersey number at Premier League club, Leicester City this season.

The defensive midfielder will wear the number 6 jersey which was previously won by Manchester United defender, Johnny Evans.

This comes after he penned a new three-year contract with the Foxes last month.

Ndidi has donned jersey number 25 since he arrived at the King Power Stadium from Belgian Pro League club, KRC Genk in 2017

The 27-year-old’s previous contract expired at the end of June.

Ndidi has registered 17 goals and 17 assists in 273 appearances for the former Premier League champions
