Napoli to make key decision on Osimhen's injury on Friday

Italian Serie A leaders, Napoli will provide an update on Osimhen's injury on Friday, April 7, as per reports.

The 24-year-old underwent treatment on Tuesday, April 4 at Napoli’s training centre in Castel Volturno following his recent injury which saw him sit out in Napoli's clash against AC Milan last weekend.

The Super Eagles striker sustained discomfort in his left adductor on his return from international duty with Nigeria.

The latest report from Italy indicates that Friday will be the key date the club will determine if the Serie A top scorer will be available for Nappli's UEFA Champions League quarterfinal clash against their Serie A rivals, AC Milan.

However, the club correspondent Massimo Ugolini maintains that it will take a miracle for the ex-Lille striker to be available for the first leg at San Siro.

Meanwhile, with or without Osimhen, Luciano Spalletti and his charges will hope to bounce back to winning ways when they take on Lecce in Serie A on Friday, April 7.
