Napoli target another top Super Eagles striker in case Osimhen leaves

With a lot of uncertainties surrounding Victor Osimhen's future, Napoli have turned to Nice's Terem Moffi as a potential replacement for the Serie A top scorer, according to widespread reports.

Osimhen, 24, has been heavily linked with a move away from the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium following his explosive form with the newly crowned Serie A champions.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich have all reportedly been linked with a move for the Super Eagles striker.

Despite the talks surrounding Osimhen's future, none of his suitors have submitted a deal to Napoli for his signature.

Tuttomercato web reports that the Serie A champions have shortlisted OGC Nice's Terem Moffi and Lille's Jonathan.

Moffi, also 24, scored managed 18 goals and 3 assists in 34 appearances for FC Lorient and OGC Nice in Ligue 1 last season.

He also managed 3 goals in 4 Europa Conference League appearances for OGC Nice, including a superb overhead kick that was voted the Best Goal of the campaign.
