Runaway Serie A leaders, Napoli, are set to offer talisman Victor Osimhen a one-year contract extension amid interest from several European giants.

The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Naples-based club following his brilliant season for the club.

Osimhen, who became Napoli's marquee signing in 2020 still has two years left on his current deal.

The leading top scorer in Serie A has reportedly been linked with a move to Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG and Bayern Munich.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Napoli are ready to offer their most-priced asset a year deal to ward off interest from his suitors.

“Osimhen’s contract with Napoli will expire in 2025, the Blue company will try to renew it for another season. Victor Osimhen is ready to talk about it and reach an agreement,” the website wrote as quoted by The PUNCH.

“The Nigerian is not currently considering leaving Napoli especially if Luciano Spalletti remains as coach of the team. Victor is very ambitious and one of his goals is to win the Champions League.”

However, Osimhen is reportedly interested in a move to the Premier League ahead of Bayern Munich and PSG, Foot Mercato reports.

Napoli are demanding a fee around the region of €150m for their talisman.
